IJGlobal ESG Awards 2025 – all the winners

Fresh from the stage having presented IJGlobal ESG Awards 2025 for EMEA and the Americas, we are delighted to reveal all the winners from our pioneering event that is now in its fifth year.

With these awards, IJGlobal seeks to identify the great and good of the international infrastructure and energy community, singling out winners for their involvement in driving the environmental, social and governance elements of infra activity.

The winners, many of which were announced tonight in the Sheraton Grand Hotel London on Park Lane, are:

The individual awards are:

• ESG Lifetime Achievement – Hussain Al Nowais, AMEA Power
• ESG Outstanding Individual – Shami Nissan, Actis
• ESG Lawyer of the Year – Simon Davies, Eversheds Sutherland
• ESG Rising Star 2025 – Georgia Whitehouse, Bluefield Partners

IJGlobal takes great pride in these awards which have become a landmark date in the industry’s calendar and that we believe stand apart for having the most transparent judging process.

We believe these awards – reviewed by independent panels of judges, all of whom have deep exposure to ESG – are the most transparent hosted by any title in the infra/energy space.

IJGlobal goes to pains to identify the judges – the London panel and the Asia Pacific team (winners announced 19 November in Singapore) – who make decisions on all categories, justifying their choices in each story.
