Vietnam’s state-owned Vietnam Electricity (EVN) has signed a $677 million contract with Japan’s Mitsubishi Corporation and South Korea’s Doosan Heavy Industries to build a third coal-fired thermal power plant in Vinh Tan in south-eastern Vietnam.
