Blows leaves Natixis
Ashley Blows – managing director of infrastructure at Natixis in London – has today (13 March) announced his departure from the bank after almost 15 years.
Blows said he is “taking a break” before embarking on a portfolio career in the infrastructure sector, and will continue to be based in the UK.
He has said that he is open to “non-executive directorships, investment committee positions, advisory assignments or working on bespoke projects”.

He was most recently MD, financial sponsor coverage - infrastructure at the investment bank, under which he headed up coverage for infrastructure fund managers. Before that he was MD transport & environment, which encompassed Natixis' PPP and social infrastructure activities.
He was appointed global head of infrastructure in 2011 in a wide-ranging shakeup of the global project finance operations – and joined the bank in 2008 from Depfa where he was global head of infrastructure equity.
