GIP announces multiple promotions


Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) has promoted Bob Callahan, Lucy Chadwick and Andrew Paulson to partner in the firm.

Callahan is based in the US while Chadwick and Paulson are both in the UK.

Since joining GIP 2008, Callahan been a key member of the firm’s business improvements team and led process improvement efforts and capital efficiency programmes at several of GIP's portfolio companies. He currently serves on the boards of Medallion Midstream, Clearway Energy Group and Saavi Energia.

Meanwhile Chadwick arrived at GIP in 2019 with more than 30 years of transport and government experience. Before joining the firm, she worked for the UK Department for Transport (DfT) for almost 15 years.

She is currently head of GIP's ESG team, working on prioritising ESG considerations in investment processes and helping the firm’s portfolio companies become market leaders in their respective sectors. She serves on the boards of NTV Italo and Naturgy Energy Group.

Paulson joined GIP in 2018 with more than 20 years of infrastructure financing experience. Prior to that, he was the head of infrastructure at RBS, which he joined in 2005.

Paulson leads GIP's capital markets group, which is responsible for the debt financing activities of the firm’s portfolio companies. Since joining the firm, he has helped arrange roughly $100 billion of such financings. He serves on the board of Terminal Investment Limited.
